Apologies, this event has been cancelled.  The speaker had a conflict arise. We will announce a revised date as soon as possible.

The Park on Keeaumoku stands as one of the largest and most transformative recent developments in Honolulu, setting a new standard for urban living in Hawaii. The mixed-use project comprises 972 residential units — 826 market-rate and 146 affordable condo units — and over 80,000 square feet of commercial space. It also features a 1,596-stall parking structure and a half-acre park, transforming nearly an entire block into a vibrant “live-work-play” community.

Please join us for our upcoming luncheon on Thursday, June 18, featuring Wyeth Matsubara, vice president of Nan, Inc., who will share insights on bringing this 3.5-acre urban oasis to life.  Nan, Inc. served as the General Contractor on the project and Keeaumoku Development Owner LLC was the Developer.  Both companies are owned buy Nan Chul Shin.

Nan, Inc. is Hawaii's largest locally owned and operated general contractor, serving construction needs for over 36 years. As a Building General Contractor, Civil & Heavy Civil Contractor, and Licensed Asbestos Contractor, the firm has completed over 4,000 projects totaling over $10 billion. Nan performs work both in the public (federal, state, and local government agencies) and private/commercial sectors with projects ranging from athletic complexes, courthouses, hospitals, and shipyards to wastewater treatment plants and large-scale military installations.

Wyeth is involved in estimating, legal management, protests, development, financing, business strategy, contracts, negotiations, project meetings, corporate meetings, and public relations. He graduated from the University of Hartford with a bachelor’s degree in political science and received a juris doctorate (J.D.). from the California Western School of Law.
