The physical brick-and-mortar retailers in our communities provide many of the goods and services that Hawaii businesses rely on every day.  New expansion, renovation and retail center construction is also continuing throughout the state even as online shopping becomes more prevalent in our lives.

Please join us at Prince Waikiki on Thursday, June 15 to hear from two Hawaii experts for their behind-the-scenes take on what’s trending in the retail real estate market and future plans for development.

Francisco Gutierrez is senior vice president of development at Alexander & Baldwin. He joined A&B in August 2018 and leads the company’s real estate development activities. Gutierrez has more than 24 years of development and design experience. Most recently, he served as senior director of development at GGP, one of the nation’s largest owners, redevelopers and operators of retail properties. Gutierrez received bachelor’s degrees in architecture and environmental design and a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Houston.

Kelli Willinski is vice president in the Retail Services Division of Colliers, Hawaii’s largest commercial real estate organization. Her area of expertise is retail landlord and tenant representation throughout the state. Her relationships with tenants include a diverse group of local, regional, and national owners and occupiers. Prior to rejoining Colliers, she was a first vice president at CBRE’s Honolulu office. Willinski received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Art 2D from California State University Northridge.
